What is the standard bookmark format?
The most common format is 5x18 cm portrait (fits perfectly into a standard book). You can also print custom sizes: slimmer 4x20 cm, larger 6x21 cm, shaped with rounded corners or custom shapes. For non-standard sizes, ask us whether the shape can be cut.
What is the minimum quantity I can order?
The minimum run is 50 pieces, but below 100 the unit cost is high. It's best to start from 200-500 pieces for a reasonable cost. For large runs (over 1,000 pieces) the unit cost drops sharply.
How much does it cost to print 200 bookmarks?
As a guide: 200 bookmarks 5x18 cm, full colour double-sided on 300g cardstock start from around € 40-60 (€ 0.20-0.30 each). Laminated or premium paper adds 30-40%. For an exact quote send your file to stampa@guug.it.
Can I make bookmarks with photos on both sides?
Yes, it's one of the most common uses. Front design + back with company info, a quote, a promo code, an events calendar. High-resolution photographic printing. For dense photographs we recommend 350g coated cardstock.
I only need the artwork - do you do that?
Yes, we have an in-house design studio that designs bookmarks from scratch based on your brief and images. Turnaround is 2-3 working days for a simple design. For more elaborate projects (custom illustrations, themed series) it takes longer.
Do custom bookmarks work as graduation favours or small gifts?
Yes, they are among the most appreciated useful favours: a card-stock bookmark with a quote, a photo or the defence date costs little, pairs well with the confetti bag and never ends up in a drawer.
