Clear adhesive, where everything that isn't printed disappears and only the artwork stays on the glass, or solid white, when the lettering has to stand out in daylight too. Standard delivery

1 piece

Minimum quantity

Two backings, two different results on glass

The choice isn't cosmetic: it changes how visible the graphic is from outside in daylight, and how much light still reaches the shop.

Clear adhesive

The unprinted area disappears and only the artwork remains, as if painted onto the glass. It lets light through and doesn't close off the window. The right choice for logos, lettering, decoration and opening hours.

Solid white adhesive

The white backing stands out on any glass and holds up against afternoon backlight. Use it when the graphic has to be readable from a distance, or when there's visual clutter behind the glass.

What our customers use them for

Opening hours and information

Opening hours, closing days, accepted payment methods, wi-fi. Small, discreet, usually on the door or the window frame.

Sales and promotions

Discount percentages, seasonal offers, new collections. They come off at the end of the campaign without marking the glass.

Logo and signage on glass

The brand on the entrance door, the company name, the VAT number: the affordable alternative to a sign, and easy to update when something changes.

Exhibitions and events

Large-format posters applied to glass for exhibitions, festivals and pop-ups. They stay for the run of the event, then go.

Offices and professional practices

Nameplates on entrance glazing, practice names, internal signage on glass doors and partitions.

Windows that need screening

Opaque bands at the base or at eye level, to keep stockrooms and workstations out of sight.

You apply it yourself, and it isn't hard

We print and cut to size: we don't do the installation, and we'd rather say so up front. On an ordinary shop window it's half an hour's work, and the result depends almost entirely on the preparation.

Clean the glass with water and a non-oily detergent, leaving no streaks. Wet the surface with water and a drop of soap: the adhesive then won't grab immediately, so you can slide it until it's straight. Squeeze the water out with a soft squeegee, working from the centre towards the edges, always in the same direction. Any remaining bubbles can be pricked with a pin and pressed flat.

Avoid working in direct sun or below 10 °C: in the heat the adhesive grabs too fast, in the cold it doesn't grab at all. If the graphic is wider than 107 cm we print it as butted panels, with an overlap of a few millimetres that is invisible from a metre away.

Frequently asked questions

Do you come and install it?
No: we print and cut to size, the customer applies it — or an installer of their choice. You'll find the step-by-step method on this page; for large jobs or tall windows, it's worth calling in a professional fitter.
How large can a window graphic be?
A single panel goes up to 107 cm wide — the working width of our plotter — with virtually unlimited length. For wider windows we print two or more butted panels: done properly, the join isn't noticeable.
Does it come off without damaging the glass?
Yes. Peel it slowly from one corner; if it's been up for many months, warm it with a hairdryer and it will come away in one piece. Any glue residue dissolves with alcohol or a dedicated remover.
How should I prepare the file?
A PDF or vector file, at 1:1 or at a stated scale, with 3-5 mm bleed on each side. If all you have is a low-resolution logo we can redraw it: that's design work, and we'll quote it up front. On clear film, remember that white is not printed: wherever the artwork is white, the glass shows through.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the square metres and the backing, so we quote each job: send us the dimensions at stampa@guug.it and we'll reply the same day. For a small piece — opening hours on the door, say — you're looking at a few tens of euros.

Send us your window measurements.

Width by height in centimetres, plus the file — even a photo will do to get started. Quote the same day.
