What exactly is a roll-up banner and how does it work? +

A roll-up (also called a pull-up or retractable banner) is a self-standing vertical display. An aluminium base holds the banner rolled inside; a telescopic pole pulls it up and locks it in place. It sets up in 30 seconds, no tools, no wall fixings. When you take it down the banner retracts automatically into the base and everything fits into a soft carry bag. Ideal for fairs, conferences, travelling presentations.

Yes. On shop.guug.it/rollup you choose the banner (PVC or tela), upload your PDF and pay. We send a digital mockup to approve, then print in 24 hours. Free pickup in Rome Prati, or tracked shipping across Italy and the EU.

How much does a roll-up cost? +

A complete 85 × 200 cm roll-up (display + custom banner + carry bag included) costs €150 with a PVC banner (best for designs with a white background) or €160 with a tela banner (best for full-bleed backgrounds), VAT included. What standard formats do you offer? +

The two most common: 85x200 cm (the standard size, ideal for reception desks, shop entrances, normal spaces) and 100x200 cm (larger, more presence, great for fair stands or conference stages). Custom sizes are available on request. All include the base, telescopic pole and carry bag.

How long do they last? +

PVC and tela banners are made for repeated use: rolled inside the carry bag they don't crease or curl, and last for years with ordinary care. The mechanical base is the most delicate part: with average use (one or two events a month) it lasts 3-5 years. If only the graphics change, you reuse the base and just reprint the banner.

Can I see a digital mockup before printing? +

Always. Before printing we send a high-resolution PDF mockup that simulates the finished roll-up at real dimensions, showing the safe area for the bottom edge that goes into the base and the visible area. You approve, then we print. This applies to online, email and in-store orders alike.
