Twenty years of printing in the heart of Rome
GUUG opened in Rome in 2005 as a small neighbourhood copy shop. Working side by side with university students, professionals, companies, law firms and public offices — including many internationals living or working in Rome — we turned a traditional printing service into a reference point for anyone who needs professional quality combined with real speed.
We have always been at Via di Porta Castello 29, in the heart of the Prati district, just 200 metres from St. Peter's Square. This location lets us serve people who live, study or work in Rome every day — as well as visitors passing through for tourism, business, international conferences or a pilgrimage to the Vatican. Our staff speaks fluent English, so you can explain exactly what you need.
In over twenty years we have built an organisation that delivers exceptionally fast turnaround times: the thermal binding of a thesis is ready in 5 minutes, and a hard cover with gold or silver foil stamping in 2 hours (and that's a guarantee, not an estimate).

Who's behind the counter
GUUG is the print house of Marco Montefusco, behind this counter since 2005 — first with a small neighbourhood copy shop, today with a reference point for theses, digital and large-format printing. He is the one quoting jobs, keeping the presses in register and signing the blog guides in person: “Written at the counter by Marco”.

Speed, no excuses
Thermal binding in 5 minutes, hard cover in 2 hours, photocopies in just a few minutes. We never promise turnaround times we cannot keep: we work so that speed is a standard, not an exception.
Free file check
Before printing we check your file for free: margins, resolution, embedded fonts, page numbering. A thesis with wrong margins or a flyer with pixelated images would hurt you more than us — better to stop for 5 minutes now.
Honest advice
Twenty years of work have taught us what works and what does not. If your choice is not the best one for your case (paper, finish, format, binding), we tell you. Even when it means suggesting the cheaper option.
Quality without compromise
