We print standard ISO sizes and any custom dimension. Our large-format printer reaches up to 1118 mm in width, the equivalent of a rotated A0.

Which paper to choose

Paper makes more of a difference than size. Here are the 4 main families and when to use them. If you're not sure, send us the file and we'll advise you.

Glossy photo paper

Bright paper, excellent colour rendering, deep blacks. Ideal for photographs, vivid illustrations, movie posters. Not recommended for very bright locations: reflections can make reading uncomfortable.

Matte coated paper

Matte, glare-free finish, maximum legibility for text and tables. The standard choice for corporate posters, conferences, internal communications. Easy to write on with a marker.

Modigliani Fedrigoni

Premium Italian paper with a hammered texture, ideal for art reproductions, artistic posters, signature prints. 200/260g weights for a substantial feel. For dedicated art prints see the Fine Art page in related services.

Budget poster paper

Thinner and cheaper paper, perfect for large runs of promotional posters, big flyers, temporary displays. Great visual result, and the per-copy price drops quickly with quantity.

Frequently asked questions

In which sizes do you print posters?

We print in all standard sizes: A3 (29.7×42 cm), A2 (42×59.4 cm), A1 (59.4×84.1 cm), A0 (84.1×118.9 cm). We also print custom sizes: give us the exact dimensions you need and we'll find the most suitable paper format. The plotter's maximum width is 1118 mm.

Which papers do you have available?

For posters we mainly use: glossy photo paper (for vivid images), matte coated paper (for text and corporate graphics), hammered Modigliani Fedrigoni paper (for art prints and premium posters), budget poster paper (for promotional items in large runs). We recommend the most suitable paper based on your use.

How much does it cost to print a poster?

It depends on size, paper and number of copies. As a guide (90g paper): A2 from € 6, A1 from € 11, A0 from € 15; with the heavier 200g paper it goes up to € 19 (A1) and € 27 (A0). We offer discounts for large runs. Send us the file at stampa@guug.it for an exact quote in minutes.

How long does it take to have them ready?

For small runs (1-10) turnaround is short: come in the morning, pick up in the afternoon. For larger runs (20-100 copies) we usually need the day. If you're in extreme urgency, call us on 06 4424 0707 and we'll try to arrange something.

Can I have them laminated or mounted on Forex?

Yes. Lamination protects against wear and is ideal for posters displayed outdoors or on heavy display. Mounting on Forex (foamed PVC) turns the poster into a rigid, lightweight panel, perfect for trade fairs, shop windows, indoor signs.

Do you also print posters for events and exhibitions?

Yes, we work regularly with art galleries, conferences, trade fairs, book launches, photo exhibitions, sports events. We can also handle complex projects with multiple sizes and finishes together.
