The PVC weight changes the price, the stiffness and how long the banner lasts. Pick the right one based on where and for how long it will be displayed.

PVC 380g · Indoor

Lighter and more affordable. For indoor banners (conference halls, indoor trade fairs, covered venues) or single-use and short events. Not suited to prolonged outdoor exposure.

PVC 450g · Standard outdoor

The most common weight for outdoor banners. Laminated on both sides, it withstands rain and sun for 18-24 months of continuous exposure. Ideal for trade fairs, events, shop windows, sports sponsors.

PVC 500g · Permanent

Stiffer and more durable, with eyelets that hold up better over time. For permanent banners: construction sites, sports facility fencing, roadside signage, continuous exposure.

What is the maximum size you can print? +
Our wide-format plotter prints up to 1118 mm wide (an A0 rotated) by virtually unlimited length: that means we can produce banners 4, 5, 6 metres long or more in a single strip. For banners exceeding 1118 mm in height/width we print in modules joined by stitching or overlapping — even a 5x3 metre or 8x2 metre banner is doable. For giant banners (over 10 metres) we plan the job in sections.
What kind of PVC do you use for banners? +
The standard PVC for outdoor banners is 450g (laminated on both sides, resistant to rain and sun). For heavier use or prolonged exposure we use 500g (stiffer, with eyelets that stay stable over time). For indoor use or short displays there is also lighter 380g PVC (more affordable). All the PVC we use is B1 fire-rated where required.
Are eyelets included? Where are they placed? +
Yes, metal eyelets (grommets for cord or hook, 8-12 mm diameter) are included in the price. Standard placement: the 4 corners + one every 50 cm along the long sides (for banners over 2 metres). Custom placement on request (e.g. top edge only for hanging on a railing, or a tighter 30 cm pitch for windy locations). For wall mounting without eyelets, adhesive velcro tape is an option.
How long do they last outdoors? +
A 450g PVC banner in continuous outdoor exposure lasts about 18-24 months before any noticeable loss of brightness (sun + rain + smog). Under cover or used only for occasional events it lasts far longer: 4-5 years without issues. The main factor is UV sunlight: a south-facing banner on a balcony degrades faster than one inside a covered shop window.
How much does a 3x1 metre banner cost? +
For a 3x1 metre banner (3 metres wide, 1 metre high) in 450g PVC with eyelets at the 4 corners + 4 along the long sides, prices start from around €60-90. Larger banners: 4x1m ~€80-120, 5x2m ~€180-240. Modular printing for banners over 1118 mm wide carries a small surcharge for the stitching.
