How to prepare the PDF: our checklist
Five quick checks before sending us the file. If in doubt, we take care of it: the PDF preview is free and we flag anything off before printing.
Export to PDF — PDF/A or high-resolution standard PDF (at least 300 dpi on images). Never DOCX or Pages files: the formatting changes.
Binding margins — At least 2.5 cm on the binding side (left for odd pages, right for even if the document is double-sided), 2 cm on the other sides.
Page numbering — Check that numbering is continuous and clearly visible. The table of contents must match the actual page numbers.
