The most requested sizes for indoor or outdoor display, events, shop windows, local communication.

A3 (29.7 × 42 cm)

Standard size for counter posters, small windows, indoor noticeboards. Single-sided or double-sided printing. 150g or 200g coated paper.

A2 (42 × 59.4 cm)

Medium size for window displays, neighbourhood events, presentations. A good balance between visual impact and manageability. 170g or 200g paper.

A1 (59.4 × 84.1 cm)

Large size for strong visual impact. Suited to wide windows, shop entrances, building lobbies, exhibitions. 170g glossy or matte paper.

F4 billboard (70 × 100 cm)

Traditional billboard size, the standard for concert, theatre and cultural event posters. Printed on specific billboard paper also suited to temporary outdoor display.

Finishes: glossy or matte

Glossy coated paper for vivid colour impact (ideal for photographic images). Matte coated for excellent text legibility, no reflections (ideal for text-heavy posters).

Printing up to 5 colours

Canon TX-4000 fine art plotter with 5 water-based pigment inks, max width 107 cm. Accurate colour rendering, no banding. For photographic images or rich graphics.

When you need a poster, you needed it yesterday

Posters are the classic 'has to be ready by Friday because the exhibition opens Monday' or 'to hang up tonight because the event is tomorrow' job. Send the file in the morning, pick it up in the afternoon: that's the standard time for orders of up to 50-100 A3 or A2 posters in-store. For larger quantities or big sizes (A1, F4) times rise slightly but we almost always stay within the same day.

For those who prepare recurring posters (cultural clubs, bookshops with weekly events, venues with a music lineup, gyms with a class schedule) we recommend sending us the base template by email: we keep it on file and each time you just send the single monthly or weekly file, already laid out on the template. Twice the speed, zero risk of errors.

About the file: the PDF must be at least 300 dpi at final size, with 5 mm safety margins and a 3 mm bleed. If you're unsure about the file, send it anyway and we'll check it for free: we see whether it's printable and where a touch-up may be needed before going to press.

Frequently asked questions

How much does an A3 poster cost?

Roughly from € 0.80 per copy (A3 in colour; € 1.00 on 100g paper). For large runs the price can be agreed. Double-sided A3 or A2/A1 have proportionally higher rates. Send us the file and quantity for an exact quote the same day.

How long does it take for 30 A2 posters?

Same day. If you email the file in the morning, you pick them up in the afternoon. For smaller quantities (5-10) even within two hours. For F4 or A1 in high print runs it may take 24h, but for modest quantities we always stay within the same day.

Can I print posters for outdoor use (external window or wall)?

Yes, on specific billboard paper for temporary outdoor display. For prolonged outdoor exposure to sun/rain we instead recommend considering Forex or PVC (see the large format section). Paper posters last a few weeks when displayed, depending on the weather.

What file format should I send you the poster in?

PDF is the ideal format, at high resolution (300 dpi at final print size). If you have the file in JPG or PNG that's fine too, but make sure the resolution is sufficient for the size. 5 mm safety margins from the edge for text, 3 mm bleed for full-bleed images. If you're unsure, send us the file: we check it for free before printing.

Do you have ready-made posters to customise?

We don't offer ready-made templates, because every event has its own identity and copy-pasting generic models rarely leads to a good poster. If you don't have a designer, we can create it for you through the graphic design service: all it takes is an exchange of ideas, photos and text, and we'll put together targeted proposals.
