The type of folder influences the perception of your brand. For everyday corporate documents the standard one is enough; to impress VIP clients you need three-flap or wing-fold versions.

Standard A4

A simple folding folder, A4 closed (A3 open). For everyday corporate use: contracts, invoices, standard client communications.

With inner pocket

Adds an angled pocket on the inner right side. Slip in a business card, an A5 brochure, an enclosed invoice. The most requested for welcome packs.

Three-flap

Three card flaps that close in sequence for a wrapping effect. A premium look for VIP clients, important contracts and high-value presentations.

Wing-fold

Two side wings that close in the centre like shutters. A "treasure chest" effect, for documents that deserve a ceremonial opening.

What types of folders do you print?
Standard A4 corporate document folders, folders with a side inner pocket (to hold a business card, brochure or enclosures), three-flap folders (a wrapping effect, a premium look for new clients), wing-fold folders (wallet-style folds for signed contracts). All can be printed with your logo, company name, VAT number and website on the back.
What paper weight do folders need?
The right weight is 300-350gsm: rigid enough to hold documents, thin enough to close cleanly. 300gsm coated paper for a standard professional look, 350gsm card for more imposing folders (VIP clients), 300gsm recycled paper for eco-conscious companies. For luxury folders, also Fedrigoni cotton papers with gloss lamination on the outer side only.
How are the inner pockets made?
The pocket is created during die-cutting: the card is folded and glued along the sides to form an open space for holding material (business cards, A5 brochures, invoices). Standard pockets are angled (wider at the bottom, narrower at the top) to make it easier to pull items out. For wing-fold folders the mechanism is different: the wings close in the centre, covering the main document.
How much does it cost to print 200 corporate folders?
For 200 standard A4 folders with an inner pocket, double-sided in colour, 300gsm coated card, die-cutting included, you start from about € 250-350 (€ 1.25-1.75 per copy). Higher print runs significantly reduce the unit cost: at 1,000 copies the unit cost almost halves. Send your logo to stampa@guug.it for an exact quote.
How long does it take to have them ready?
For standard orders with a ready file: 3-5 working days (die-cutting adds 1-2 days compared with flat printed items like brochures). For urgent projects we can speed things up for a small surcharge. If you just need to print a ready PDF file: 24-48h. For full design with our in-house graphic studio: 7-10 days including 1-2 rounds of revisions.
