Desk calendar, metal spiral
The classic desk piece: rigid card folded into an easel, metal spiral at the top, flipped one month at a time. It stands up on its own and takes little space. This is the format you give to clients and suppliers.
Wall calendar
Larger format, hung up: the picture matters more than the grid of days. Good for offices, waiting rooms and workshops, and for anyone who wants their brand in view all year.

The right time to order
Calendars are printed from September to December, peaking between mid-November and Christmas. Arrive late in December and you'll find a queue: it's not that it can't be done, but paper choice narrows and lead times stretch.
The practical advice is to come in by the first half of November with your photographs already chosen. If the images need work — cropping, exposure, a logo to redraw — that's a few extra days of design time, and it's better to know beforehand than after.
On paper: the standard inner stock is 130-170 gsm coated, which holds photographs well without curling; covers run from 250 to 350 gsm. Large wall calendars need a heavier weight, otherwise the sheet sags once hung.
